The Azande Supreme Welfare Organization (ASWO) is a non-political, community-driven organization dedicated to improving the social, cultural, and economic welfare of the Azande people worldwide. We serve as the mouthpiece of the Azande community, representing their interests and advocating for their wellbeing.
ASWO is based in Juba, South Sudan. However, our reach extends globally, serving Azande communities across multiple countries including South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, and the diaspora worldwide.
There are several ways to get involved with ASWO:
ASWO works across five key thematic areas: Education (promoting access to quality education), Health (improving healthcare access), Livelihoods (supporting economic opportunities), Peacebuilding (fostering peace and reconciliation), and Environment (protecting Azande lands and natural resources).
No. ASWO is strictly a non-political, community-driven welfare organization. Our focus is entirely on the social, cultural, and economic wellbeing of the Azande people. We do not endorse any political party or engage in partisan political activities.
ASWO supports education through various programs including scholarship advocacy, literacy programs, vocational training support, and community awareness campaigns. We work with educational institutions and government bodies to improve access to quality education for Azande children and youth.
